Striped Catfish
Scientific name: Plotosus lineatus
The Striped Catfish are not a common site at the Solitary Islands, but when found they are usually in a ball so tight that you can't see throughthem at all. Be warned, don't go near them, as they can sting or peck you. I thought I would try to get a good picture of a "ball' of the striped catfish one day, and I got too close, when they made contact, I had a stinging sensation, that almost felt like a nibble, on my face!
