Trumpetfish at South Solitary Island
Scientific name: Aulostomus maculatus
The Trumpet fish will often just hang vertically in the water, motionless, waiting for its unsuspecting prey, (generally small wrasse) they suddenly will strike by sucking the smaller fish straight into its mouth.
