Cocos Island Costa Rica
This trip has now been postponed for an undetermined amount of time.... unfortunately.
A trip of this magnitude and planning needs to have a base of Divers committed to the trip well in advance, unfortunately this was not to be this time, however, we haven't given up, and still plan to get there.
With costs realistically looking to be around $7000 or more, it is understandable that not many want to commit to a trip in advance of a year!
If you are interested in getting there, when it happens, let us know and we can give you a call with plenty of notice to go!

Come to the other side of the earth, Cocos Island Costa Rica
Hammerhead capital of the world!
Planning ahead for a date to be advised!
Now we normally don’t advertise trips so far in front of the date, but we normally don’t go halfway round the world on a dive trip too!
Costa Rica is in Central America, Cocos Islands is 30hrs by boat from there! Now why go there! Well if you saw Sharkwater, the movie, it is the home of thousands of hammerhead sharks, and the occasional Whaleshark! The cost of the trip is currently $3400.00 ex Costa Rica including all meals and 7 days diving aboard the Okeanos Aggressor. To get to Costa Rica, flying via L.A. then Dallas or Miami currently costs as little as $1400 ex Sydney, then a bit of transferring in Costa Rica. (airfares can’t even be booked that far ahead of time, so it’s a budget price only!)
The way I see it, a trip this far away, needs a bit of thought and money! We would love to do it and also take in a bit of USA, like the grand canyon or stuff like that, so give it some thought yourself, it would be a trip of a lifetime to go on!
