Matt aka "Matt"

Matt is relative new to diving, but has already logged a heap of dives. He just loves diving and wants to be in the water as often as he can. He's not dumb! and has worked out as a divemaster he will do heaps! Veteran of the PNG and Coolidge trip, he has gained a lot of experience in a short time.

Little John aka “Big John”

John is also enjoying his reborn passion of the sea. Coming back into diving with a vengence, he has taken on the role of Divemaster and loving it. John has developed a good understanding for the dive sites of the Solitaries, a pity all our trainees didn't pick it up that fast!

Silent Sharnee aka "Scooter Hoe"

When Sharnee isn't studying Marine Science and Management, she can be found either learning the ropes in the shop or finding her way around the Islands. Named after Scooter the Shovelnose, due to her tendancy to "scoot" around the dive sites, keep up if you can. !

Margaret aka " Marg "

Marg is one of our staff with plenty of experience at the Solitary Islands. Marg comes back to our boats after a few years away from Coffs Harbour. With her experience Marg offers nice relaxing Dive Leads around our dive sites.

Musical Mitch Young “Cap’t Pugwash”

In between his long list of international engagements in the world of ‘popular music’, Mitch, or Cap’t Pugwash as he prefers to be called, can be found at the helm of the Blue Wing, standing on a box (so he can see out the window). If you ask him nicely, you might even get a song out of him. A modest man, he doesn’t like to boast about his multi award winning – one man show “Ronnie Corbett and Me”.Seriously, Mitch is as talented on the water as he is behind his drum kit.

Damn Yank Larry aka "Geek"

Well, really has nothing to do with our operation, but since he helped us re-write the web page - he snuck his picture in here - and we're afraid if we delete it, he might crash our site.

Devilish Dick Hedges

A Queenslander (we’re sorry) and all round good guy, Dick can be seen coming and going from the Dive centre, tank test forms in hand! Goes to prove that good things do actually come in short packages. Oh, and we gave him the hard hat as he kept hitting his head on everyone elses knees!
