Suunto Vytec is a versatile multigas full-decompression computer for advanced divers. Suunto Vytec?s three operating modes, the ability to set multiple gasses and its optional wireless pressure transmission make it probably the most feature-rich dive computer on the market.

Suunto Vytec Story
Suunto Vytec´s three operating modes, the ability to set multiple gasses and its optional wireless pressure transmission make it probably the most feature-rich dive computer on the market.
The operating modes and settings can be set to suit every divers needs. The mode-specific displays, simple user interface, reliable push buttons and a clear display further enhance the usability.
In addition to having information available to you at all times, your Suunto Vytec records and stores data for later analysis. You can view, compare, and analyze your diving performance through a specially designed PC interface.
The technical features, combined with the PC interface developed for more graphical representation of your performance, and our Internet Community, where you can share information with other like-minded divers from around the world, make Suunto Vytec ideal for advanced divers who need versatile features for variable diving conditions.

Deeper Understanding
Suunto Vytec has three operating modes: Air, Nitrox and Gauge. The Air mode is for standard air only, the Nitrox mode for up to three nitrox mixes containing 21-99% of oxygen and the Gauge mode for use as a simple bottom timer. Suunto Vytec uses an adjustable Suunto Reduced Gradient Bubble Model (RGBM) for decompression calculations.
In the Nitrox mode, you can preset up to three different gas-mixes containing 21-99% of oxygen. You can store the preferred gas mixes as default (e.g. EAN32, EAN50, EAN99), and set them ON or OFF for each dive, or modify them as needed. Suunto Vytec provides easy and reliable gas switching between enabled gases during the dive. Gas switching is only allowed for gases that lie within the chosen maximum PO2 limits. CNS and OTU values are displayed using an Oxygen Limit Fraction (OLF) bar graph.
Suunto Vytec is available with an optional wireless pressure transmitter that can be attached to the high-pressure port. You can easily enable or disable the wireless operation in the settings. With the wireless transmission enabled, Suunto Vytec displays tank pressure and calculates remaining air time based on current gas consumption. You can use the wireless transmission in the Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes. The pressure transmitter is 300-bar (4000 psi) compatible, and has a user-replaceable battery.
In the Gauge mode, Suunto Vytec works as a bottom timer, and also provides accurate profile sampling and bookmarking functions. A dive timer with a reset function displays the dive time in minutes and seconds. This is extremely useful for timing accurate bottom times and decompression stops.

Suunto Software
Suunto Dive Manager (SDM) is software that enables deeper understanding and better graphical representation of the data recorded and stored with your Sunnto computer.
With SDM you can upload your dives to a PC and create a more detailed dive logbook. Here you can analyze and plan your sports activities and keep a training diary.
